Liu Zheng, Deputy Secretary of Fengdong New City Management Committee and His Team to Visit Japan to Inspect Some Key Enterprises

In order to further utilize the advantages of the free trade area and the service trade area, and to attract high-quality foreign investors to develop and invest in the Science and Technology Resources Reform Demonstration Area, upon the invitation of the EIKI SHOJI Co., Ltd. in Japan, Liu Zheng, deputy secretary of the Fengdong New City Management Committee, together with his team, visited to Japan to carry out their inspection. The delegation visited a number of enterprises in Japan including the EIKI SHOJI Co., Ltd., RS Technologies, and the Global Logistic Properties (GLP) in Tokyo.

The delegation had the in-depth communication with Yasushi Fuji, CEO of the EIKI SHOJI and other relevant personnel at the EIKI SHOJI Co., Ltd. The EIKI SHOJI Co., Ltd. is headquartered in Shinagawa-ku in Tokyo and are mainly engaged in the manufacture, processing, recycling and sales of electronic materials, electronic equipment parts, and communication equipment parts, electricity generation from the solar power, sales of semiconductor equipment, sales of semiconductor materials and spare parts, and technical advisory services in manufacturing and engineering process of the semiconductor wafer. The turnover of the company reaches 65 billion yen. The two sides introduced to each other the company's business and regional situation, and respectively said that the detailed docking of the wafer plant business which would need further cooperation in the future. The delegation also invited the EIKI SHOJI to visit and inspect the Science and Technology Resources Reform Demonstration Area and have further communication and discussions in the near future.

After that, the delegation visited the RS Technologies Co., Ltd. in Japan. The delegation had a discussion with Mr. Fang Yongyi, CEO of the company, and Kunio Hongo, business secretary of the company. The RS Technologies is Japan’s largest manufacturer of regenerated wafer and is headquartered in Tokyo. Founded in 2010, the company was listed on the Tokyo MOTHERS in March 2015 and listed on the Tokyo Main Board in September 2016. After getting a general understanding of the Science and Technology Resources Reform Demonstration Area of Fengdong New City, the RS Technologies said that they would visit Xi’an in the near future according to their needs for business and strategic development.

The delegation then visited the Tokyo Business Unit of the Global Logistic Properties (GLP) in Japan. Accompanied by Hirotoshi Yakiyama, senior manager of the GLP in Japan, Hideki Tanaka and other personnel, the delegation visited the GLP TOKYO II, one of the most advanced industrial parks of the GLP in Japan, and gained insight into its advanced industrial park operation patterns and advanced facilities. In the later discussion, the two sides also had a further discussion in terms of relevant design and functional details of the industrial park which the GLP invested on for its construction. The delegation also learned from all the advanced experience of the GLP in Tokyo in Japan in their advanced designs and facilities in terms of the intensive use of the site and space saving, double gyro lane design for the logistics, the roof photovoltaic power generation and some other supporting facilities in the park. Also, invaluable suggestions are also offered for the the construction of the GLP industrial park.
